    Connecting the GC3 Panel to Wifi

    Versions of this panel's software older than version 3.1.3 do not have WiFi capability built into the software. See SYSTEM INFO AND USAGE >> SYSTEM INFO >> Firmware Version on the panel to check your software version. Versions older than 3.1.3 can be updated with these instructions https://help.fluenthome.com/en_US/60087-gc3/update-my-panels-firmware.

    To connect your 2GIG GC3 panel to your home WiFi

    1. Tap SYSTEM SETTINGS
    2. Enter your master code for the panel.
    3. Find and tap NETWORK SETTINGS
      network settings button
    4. Tap WIRELESS
      wireless button
    5. A list of available networks will be displayed.

    If You use a WiFi password

    1. Tap Network to connect to.

    2. Enter network password and tap Next.

    3. You will see the IP Address and other network information. While in AUTO the fields below will be blank. Manual allows you to override the network information normally handled by your router's DHCP server. If you do not know what the acronym VLSM means, its probably best to let your router handle this for you and leave the panel on AUTO

    4. Tap the back arrow on the left side of the screen repeatedly until you reach the home screen.

    WPS

    Tapping WPS allows you to connect securely to routers that support WPS.

    1. Tap WPS on the Panel.
    2. Tap Connect
    3. Locate and press WPS on your router.
    4. You will see the IP Address and other network information. While in AUTO the fields below will be blank. Manual allows you to override the network information normally handled by your router's DHCP server. If you do not know what the acronym VLSM means, its probably best to let your router handle this for you and leave the panel on AUTO

    5. Tap the back arrow on the left side of the screen repeatedly until you reach the home screen.

    Join Other Network

    Tapping Join Other Network allows you to join a network not shown in the list. If your router is not broadcasting it's SSID, this method will get you connected

    1. Tap Tap Join Other Network..
    2. Enter network SSID.
    3. Select authentication type used by the network.
    4. Enter network password and tap Next.

    5. You will see the IP Address and other network information. While in AUTO the fields below will be blank.     6. Tap the back arrow on the left side of the screen repeatedly until you reach the home screen.
