- Ensure the panel is disarmed.
- Open the sensor by rotating the casing counterclockwise.
- Remove the battery.
- Wait 15–20 seconds.
- Replace the battery with a CR-123A battery.
- Fully close the sensor by placing it on mounting bracket and twisting clockwise until it clicks into place.
