A panel tamper occurs when the panel is opened or thinks it has opened. This can occur if the panel has been bumped or if the panel has settled in its mount. Follow the instructions below to clear the tamper:
- Remove the screw on the bottom of the panel.
- Press in both bottom tabs to remove the face plate.
- Lift the face plate back up to the back plate. Press firmly and replace the screw.
- If the panel is still tampering, repeat, making sure it is fully sealed against the back plate. If the panel is still tampering, please give us a call for further instruction.
