- Ensure the panel is disarmed
- Remove the sensor cover by twisting counterclockwise
- Wait 15–20 seconds
- Replace the cover by lining up the grooves and twisting clockwise until it clicks into place
- Check the panel to see if the tamper error clears (this could take a few minutes)
